Zinc Ointment for use in veterinary.

The drug contains zinc oxide dispersed in ointment base. Each 100 g of ointment contains 10 g zinc oxide.

The drug is a dense homogeneous mass with white or pale yellow color without odor. Zinc ointment for veterinary is available in plastic containers by 100-1000 g.

The drug should be stored in a dry and dark place, within the temperature range +4°C to +25°C. Shelf-life is 3 years from the date of its manufacture under specified storage conditions.

Zinc ointment has astringent, drying, anti-inflammatory and disinfectant actions.

The ointment is applied by thin layer directly to affected skin surface 1-2 times a day until recovery.

The ointment is used topically for skin diseases (oozing wounds, burns, dermatitis, furunculosis, pyoderma, bedsores).

The ointment causes no complications and has no side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: There are no contraindications for its application.

There are no restrictions on slaughter of animals for meat and milk use for food purposes during ointment application.
